As far back as 1982 the coronavirus was described explicitly in a book on microbiology-

CHAPTER XX
CORONAVIRUS
The term coronavirus has been adopted to generically define a recently isolated group of viruses which present common characteristics and in particular the presence around the virion of large petaloid projections which form a characteristic corona (hence the name of the group).
The coronaviruses contain NRA as nucleic acid not well defined in structure and conformation. They have a probably helicoidal symmetry and the nucleocapsid is coated in lipoprotein.
The complete virion is round with slight pleiomorphism and has a diameter between 70 and 120 nanometer…… it is a round virus, in some cases pleomorphic, with a diameter between 70 and 120 nanometers, containing single helix NRA. The virions are coated in a covering from which long clavate projections radiate, 20 nanometers long, found in all members of the group.
From an antigenic point of view cross reactions have been found between human coronavirus and that in mice.
Cultivation: Human coronaviruses are cultivated in human diploid cells in which they determine a cytopathogenic effect. Some strains have been adapted in monkey kidney cells.
Experimental infection: some stipites of human origin are pathogens for newborn mice in which they determine, after intracerebral inoculation, acute mortal encephalitis.
Haemagglutination power: Human coronaviruses agglutinate human and monkey erythrocytes at 4°C: rat and mouse erythrocytes at room temperature or 37°C.

The students on the degree course in medicine and surgery, who did not know the subject, failed the exam (just as most of the countless so-called experts should be failed, who speak, advertise themselves and decide, offending the fundamental bases of virology and medicine in general).

THIS EXPERTS HAVE TRIGGERED A SPIRAL OF ESCALATION, WHICH NOBODY SEEMS TO WANT TO STOP.
